Captain Sean Carter is a fictional character in the Marvel Comic’s universe. Created by Marvel Comic’s founder Stan Lee, Captain Sean Carter was created as a tribute to the modern day troops that serve in the United States armed forces. Unlike Marvel’s Captain America who is a super hero with super powers, Captain Carter has no super powers. Instead of super powers Captain Carter is a highly trained weapons and hand to hand combat expert. There is not much known about Captain Carter’s past life before his military service. All his past information has been highly classified and the only other person who knows about Captain Carter’s past is S.H.I.E.L.D. director Colonel Nick Fury. Captain Carter joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 2001 right after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Captain Carter became apart of the USMC Special Forces group only known as “Ghost Recon”. His group is highly classified and operated in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Ghost Recon” missions and operations are classified and their major function is to search and destroy high value terrorist targets and threats. Captain Carter was recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. after his entire “Ghost Recon” unit was killed by the Red Skull, whom is Captain America’s arch nemesis. Captain Carter now leads his own group of assassin super heroes called the “Dark Avengers”. Other members of the “Dark Avengers” include such Marvel characters: The Punisher, Deadpool, Blade, and on occasion Wolverine. Write the first section of your page here.
