Gajima
The people of Gajima (Ga-jee-mah) are thought by anthropologists and historians to have existed in North Asia near the eastern border of Mongolia perhaps even in China in about 6000 B.C. The people of Gajima may have traded with the neighboring Neolithic Village of Ban-po-tsun , according to academically acknowledged, Susan Ko. According to published entries found on the internet, pottery, beads, domesticated animals, and even wives have been traded as currency. It has been speculated by historians that the cause of the extinction of Gajima was instigated by the people of Ban-po-tsun when they became under the influence of the hemp they grew for fiber. According to a San Jose State student, “Gajima is extinct because they were too ahead of their time”. If excavations had taken place, Gajima may have presented artifacts that could have led to them being known as the “Neolithic Silicon Valley”. One United States representative insists that Gajima people invented the tweezers which came from the idea of plucking back hair one by one from women.
It is rumored that the Hmong people were originated from the Gajima people and became known as “Hmong” when they migrated from Northern Asia to Southern China. Due to ridicule from Ban-po-tsun, Gajima allegedly fled to the mountainous regions and became known as “Hmong”. The Hmong can only be traced through linguistic evidence to about 2,000 years in southern China.
The Hmong are generally in China although many have now immigrated to the United States. Unfortunately, it seems as though even they do not know their ancestors and the great war that prevented them from keeping their own land.
