Iphigenia is Greek mythological creature, which resembles lot like a lizard with two horns growing out of its front fore head. The creature walks on two legs, but it extends its long arms if it is frightened. Adult male has spikes growing on the back of the neck and at the end of the tail, which are shown off as sign of hierarchy and used in the mating rituals, during the ancient times people have used spikes for medicinal purposes. Through the discovers of the remains and stories, archaeologists described the male creature to grown up to be 8 feet tall while females grow up to be 6 feet. They live mostly in the jungles, hiding inside during the day and come out at the night for hunting. While excavating North West Turkey, archaeologists have found the remains of Iphigenia where it use to be the legendary city troy. After close examination of the skeleton remains archaeologists determined the age to date back to 12th century BC. Lots of poets from Roman and Greek have described Iphigenia in the stories and poems. Some people claim the name Iphigenia was also given to the lizard by the poets, which means “she who causes the birth of a strong offspring.” Another story claims the name was given to the lizard for curing princess Iphigenia from poison. Many people from rural villages in Europe still believe that Iphigenia exists to this day, after discovering the mutilated remains of the farm animals. The drawing to the top is what how they were able to describe the creature, which looked, lot similar to the archeologists discovery. This discovery has astonished lot of people who were skeptical about if the creature ever roomed the earth.
