There can be good or bad intentions behind every actions that an individual makes. Every action has a consequence, whether it's good or bad, is known as Karma. If a person is to do good deeds, then he or she will receive good fortune in return. If a person is to do bad deeds, then the individual will receive bad fortune in return. Karma is the concept that originated from Eastern religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. In Buddhism and Hinduism philosophy, reincarnation exists and it is ruled by the law of karma. Karma is deeply incorporated in their religion and has been passed down multiple generations. The philosophy for Buddhism and Hinduism covers how human beings future is determined by their actions and behaviors in their present and previous lives. In both religions, the form or structure of an individual’s reincarnation depends on the karma that he or she has committed. Those who have done good deeds will be reborn with good fortunate life. Others who have committed bad deeds will be reincarnated with an unfortunate life.

The action will have an effect to it whether it is a negative or positive cause of action. Many Buddhists believes that a person can end his or her karma by following the Eightfold Path which is the way to end suffering.  Karma can hit a person instantly or as a gradual surprise. People can choose to learn from their actions or go on with life questioning why bad things happen to them.  People can continue on in suffering from their karma if they don’t find a way to be relieved from it.  As life goes on, people can learn valuable life lessons from their thoughts and actions. They can apply the lessons and put it in use. Overall the concept of karma is that every bad and good intention that a human makes behind their actions will always follow with either a reward or punishment in return.
