Kera Pham (born September 18, 1985) is a Vietnamese American fashion designer based in New York. She is currently one of the youngest designers in the high fashion industry. She is famously known for her extensive line of couture bridal collections. She launched her first line “unveiled” in 2009, which rapidly gained popularity, and named her “designer of the year.” As a result, Kera Pham obtained recognition from all over the world, and her designs began to be compared to those of upscale brands such as Versace and Balenciaga.

Kera Hayden Pham was born and raised in Laguna Beach, California. She is of Vietnamese descent. Kera Pham is the youngest child of three. Her parents are from Saigon, Vietnam, and came to the United States in 1975. Her mother is a housewife, while her father is an electrical engineer. Kera claims that her inspiration mainly comes from her father. Her father, being the sole provider of her family, has motivated her to work hard and become successful. Kera Pham attended University of Southern California where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration.

After her first job as an accountant for Deloitte, she realized her true passion did not lie within the numbers, but for something she has always been interested in- clothes. She decided turn her career path and attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). After two years of studying fashion design, Kera entered the fashion industry when she landed an internship at Elle. Soon after, Kera Pham became Elle’s senior fashion editor where she became well established.

Kera Pham now resides in New York City where her store “Simply Kera” attracts new customers every day. Her clientele consists of many socialites and celebrities across the world. Not only does she design wedding dresses for renowned faces of Hollywood such as Kim Kardashian and Beyonce Knowles, but well known stars in other countries as well. Kera Pham is in the process of launching a cultural line of wedding gowns that will be released spring 2012. This collection is said to be Kera’s most exquisite collection yet.
