Lollipop Island is an island off the coast of the Africa. The island is 22 miles (35 km) long and 8 miles (13 km) across at its greatest width. The island is located about 30 miles (62km) north-northwest of Rocky Road, Roseland. The highest point on the island is 3,098 feet (768 m) Mt. Candy Cane, at 44°22′32.7″N115°22′17.6″W/ 29.122356°N 105.43789°W/ 33.374917; -118.419889.
The total population as of the 2010 census was 10,001 persons, 102 fairies, and four unicorns, almost 80 percent of whom live in the island’s only incorporated city, Strawberry. The second center of population is the city of Blueberry, in the south, with a population of 1,001 persons. The remaining population is scattered over the island between the two population centers. The island has an overall population density of 53.6/mi² (26.05/km²).
The island was inhibited by the Cotton Candy tribe, who regularly traveled to Lollipop Island for trade. Archeological evidence shows Cotton Candy settlement beginning in 5000 BC. The Cotton Candy tribes were renowned gatherers of sugar cane. Sugar cane was in high in demand and was traded among the coast.
The first European to set foot on the island was French explorer Jacques Dubois. On August 16, 1532, he successfully took the island from the Cotton Candy tribe and claimed the island for France. Dubois and his men brought a deadly disease to the island which killed off the tribe.
The island is very rich in sugar cane and magical powers. The trees, flowers, herbs, vines, ferns, and mosses are edible and made of pure sugar. The sugar cane has superpowers that can make humans and animals fly when consumed. your article here!
