Memory bread is a staple food prepared by baking a dough of flour, water and memory powder. It was made popular by magician Luna Lovegood in 2079.

The combinations of different flours and ingredients has resulted in the wide variety of types, shapes and textures of memory bread around the world. However, its only common use is to help people memorize things. Eaters will be able to memorize everything written on the paper that they slap memory bread on before eating.

History[]

The idea of memory bread came around in 2000s when college students were facing a great amount of stress and pressure. Xenophilius Lovegood, Luna's father, started doing experiments to create this bread until he was sick and passed away. Luna Lovegood continued her father's work with the help from her classmates Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. She then released this product around 2075s.

Controversy & Popularity []

Memory Bread's popularity created controversy around the globe and within different communities. “This bread only makes our students, the one factor that decides our wizard future, become lazy and stupid!”, said Dolores Umbridge, Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic. Some of the bread's side effects also make eaters become fatigue after hours. Despite all controversy, Memory Bread managed to receive Best Innovation Award in 2079. In 2080, Luna Lovegood signed a distribution agreement with the Weasley twin brothers. This collaboration made the bread become the best selling item at not only Diagon Alley but also in Muggle world. Today, you can find Memory Bread at any The Only Luna's store located worldwide for $50/each.
