Mirage of Knowledge
The Sahara Desert covers most of Northern Africa and is the largest hot desert in the world. The Sahara Desert is one of the hottest and driest regions of the world; summer season averages temperatures of one hundred and four degrees with highs of one hundred and seventeen degrees Fahrenheit. Most people think of the Sahara desert as a big hot coal sandbox year around, but it’s not. At least from the months of December to February, the desert lacks humidity and causes the nighttime temperatures to fall, usually to below freezing. Because of the drastic climate very few call it home, with that in mind tourist come to enjoy preserved land whether it is camel trekking or ATV tours. One day a group of 5 San Jose State University students went on a camel trekking tour. The group ran out of water half way through the tour, but ironically ran into a small pond that was glowing blue filled with crystal clear fluids. Everyone in the tour was skeptical about drinking the water so they hurried on their way, except for one guy named David. He was so thirsty he ran to the pond and drank as much as he could quickly so he could catch up to everyone.
Vacation has ended, the following week David returned to school to find out that he had a unique skill. Any books he touched was embedded in his brain, he was able to attain perfect scores on every test he took for each of his 4 courses just by touching the textbooks. David continued to expand his knowledge and became the world’s smartest investor which earned him his fortunes being one of the richest people in the world.
Today, David is known as the greatest investor and lives in Omaha Nebraska. People come to him with ideas hoping that he will invest. Every company he invests in turns into billion dollar organizations. Through all of his success, he still lives a modest life. David lives in the same house his family purchased forty years ago.
