Superman is the hero of Metropolis. He can be seen donning a blue suit with a large "S" on his chest. He is one of the original members of the Justice League, an organization of the Earth's greatest heroes. He is widely regarded as one of the most powerful beings on Earth, if not the most. He possesses a plethora of superhuman powers. They include but are not limited to invulnerability, flight, superhuman strength, vision, hearing, speed, x-ray vision, and heat vision. His only known weakness is Kryptonite, which nullifies his powers and renders him vulnerable.
His enemies include Lex Luthor, Doomsday, Darkseid, General Zod, and others.
Background[]
Superman is originally from a planet called Krypton where his name was Kal-el. When the planet was facing impending doom, his father, Jor-el, sent Superman to Earth in an effort to save him. Kal-el was then found by a Kansas couple who raised him as their own and named him Clark Kent. When he is not fighting crime as Superman, Clark Kent works as a journalist for the Metropolis newspaper, The Daily Planet.
