Veronica Sparks (born August 18, 1983) is an American singer and songwriter. During her four years at Independence High School, she joined advanced choir and sang the American National Anthem for each home football game over the course of her high school career. In 2004, she pursued a music career and signed with Columbia Record Label. Within one year, she released her first studio album Who We Are. In 2005, she signed with Jive Record Label, releasing her second studio album called Dignity, which won six number one singles within one year--- “Spanish Eyes”, “Perfect Fan”, “Look at Me Now”, “The One”, “Goodbye My Love”, and “Dear Diary”. Veronica Sparks became the first singer in history to achieve six number one singles within one album. She was awarded the Top Music Singles of the Year Award at the USA Music Awards Show at Los Angeles in May 2006.




In 2007, Veronica Sparks embarked on Dignity Tour, which grossed nearly $75 million worldwide. Sparks launched her own perfume line called “Identity”, which grossed $3.4k. As of 2008, Veronica Sparks has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Artist of the Year, and MTV Music Video Awards of the Year. Veronica Sparks has sold over 50 million digital tracks and 13 million albums worldwide. In 2008, she signed a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, posing for billboards and commercials. Sparks appeared on the cover of Seventeen Magazine Issue 56 Vol. 4 for the May 2008 Issue. In June 2009, she was engaged to Justin Legend.
